Taking pride in offering quality products and unsurpassed service Specialised Plastic Industries, also T/A SPI was established in Cape Town, South Africa in 1994 as a closed corporation.
SPI's primary business is plastic conversion by means of Injection and Blow moulding. A fully equiped toolroom facility Cape Mould Services also T/A CMS is an associated company adjoining SPI. Printing of products is also offered in-house as a service.
The production premises totals approximately 1200m2 of factory with the toolroom an additional 420m2. A complement of 25-32 people are responsible for the production facility which operates 24 hours a day.
The managing member and owner Charles Retief is himself a qualified toolmaker who entered the trade in 1973.
